Adding a Feed - What should the experience be like?

I just implemented a set of features to add new feeds to your list, these are the three scenarios I was targeting:
  1. Enter feed URL directly
  2. Enter feed search terms
  3. Browse list of top feeds
Numbers 1 & 3 have been implemented, but I'm thinking about saving scenario #2 for v.next. What are you thoughts? Do I have the right scenarios? Do they work the way you would like them to?

BTW - the best feed so far is the dilbert comic strip, i love the way it renders. Check it out, it is filed under "Humor" ;)

Welcome to yamRr!

Hello all, welcome to yamRr or yet another mobile RSS reader. My name is nathan, and I'm the guy who had some extra time, and wanted to build that "killer app" for my windows mobile smart phone.

I never really understood why anyone liked RSS, until I got a smartphone. The ability to whip it out when you're on the can and catch up on the day's news and events had revoluntionized my life - as I expect is about to revolutionize yours!

So why a web based news reader? Aren't there a bunch of those out there already? Yes, yes there are - but none of them are optimized specifically for your smartphone, and none of them are anywhere near as cool as yamRr!

I'll use this blog to talk about current the features I'm working on, and current events in for yamRr. Tune in when you want and let me know what features YOU need to make this your favorite mobile website.
